Accomplishments:
Since our inception, we have donated $55,000 to support music, sports and academic education programs. As well as create an endowment which will provide on-going scholarships to eligible High School Seniors to continue their educational endeavors.
2015
- Awarded five $1,000 scholarships to Somers High Seniors, as well as a legacy scholarship to honor a fellow Somers graduate.
- Donated 12 Leap Readers to Primrose Elementary School to aid students with Reading education.
- Collaborated with SHS and SMS Student Services to donate $300 to help families in need to purchase school supplies.
- Sponsored kids entertainment and activities during Somers community day, Celebrate Somers.
- Donated to Somers Library in support of their Fall 2015 efforts.
2014
- Awarded six $1,250 scholarships to Somers High Seniors.
- Coordinated and sponsored Carnival Games at Independence Day Celebration for Somers youth.
- Donated to Friends of Somers Library for equipment improvements to the Children’s Room.
2013
- Awarded six $1,250 scholarships to Somers High Seniors and the first PattyCass Community Service award for exemplary service to our organization and the community.
- Sponsored Carnival Games at Independence Day Celebration for Somers youth.
- Provided support to local bereaved family to begin a legacy in memory of their loved one.
2012
- Awarded five $1,250 scholarships to Somers High Seniors
- Sponsored Carnival Games at Independence Day Celebration for Somers youth
- Sponsored several SYSO Baseball teams to support local sports programs
- Donated $1,000 to Somers Library Teen and Childrens programs to enhance services these age groups.
2011
- Awarded four $1,500 scholarships to Somers High Seniors
- Sponsored Carnival Games at Independence Day Celebration for Somers youth
- Sponsored Rookie team awards in SYSO Baseball Showcase
- Donated funds to assist in the completion of the Batting Cages at Reis Park
2010
- Awarded three $1,000 scholarships to Somers High Seniors
- Rockin’ to Remember II benefit with Billy & the Barfights to raise funds for annual scholarships
- Sponsored Carnival Games at Independence Day Celebration to promote community celebration
- Volunteered to co-chair Elephant Sale during Primrose Holiday Happiness & assist in PTA fundraising
- Ran Sports Exchange program to enhance athletes capability to participate in local sports
- Gold Sponsor of SYSO Travel Baseball team to Cooperstown Tournament
- Funded the purchase of 18 keyboards to create a Piano Lab in Somers High School
2009
- Awarded two $1,000 scholarships to Somers High Seniors
- Supported 2009 Independence Day Celebration
- Volunteered at Primrose Holiday Happiness in Elephant Sale to assist in PTA fundraising
- Adopted Brick Hill Road & take responsibility to maintain and beautify the community
- Hosted Rockin’ to Remember concert to raise funds for annual scholarships
- Hosted Gala Fundraiser and Dinner at Sinapi’s Ceola Manor
- Co-sponsored Marching Band equipment donation to enhance percussion section
2008
- Establish charity to remember Patrick Casabona & give back to the community where he was raised
- Awarded first scholarship to Somers High Senior
- Donated $500 to Somers Library Education & Career Section
- Hosted Gala fundraising dinner at Mahopac Gold Club
